Ideal for chilling, birdwatching or white water kayaking. We're located right on the banks of the Nile overlooking the white water rapid "Bubugo" and "Superhole", an awesome freestyle kayak surf wave. It's a beautiful location with the sound of the river to keep you company, a lot of trees and birds and a beautiful starlit sky at night... Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). A portion of your accommodation fee supports our community conservation projects.

River Camp Cottage

This 2 story cottage offers tranquility and pleasure. Experience the Nile river and it’s views from the comfort of your own space. With 4 available beds, access to the bar wifi and pool, it is the perfect get away for solo travellers or family fun. The cottage is situated at the bottom of The Nile River Camp and has the pleasure of the stream running past. The Cottage offers a fully self-catering kitchen as well as a BBQ, but the bar also has a great menu should you fancy it.

There is easy access to the Source of the Nile and the golf course and plenty of opportunity to travel by public means or hire a car from the neighbour, with or without a driver to go further afield. The compound is secure so it’s a good place to have children too.

The property is situated in Bukaya on the western shores of the Source of the Nile about a 20-minute-drive to Jinja City. A beautiful, cosy little cottage on the slopes of the source of the Nile with romantic views onto the lake. *Please note: WI-FI is available on request but is not part of the standard package.
