The second floor is a large LOFT with a dividing wall separating the two sleeping areas. There are 13 steps to the second floor. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTY!

The sunlit cottage is perfect place to enjoy the largest lake in Virginia, exploring nearby state parks, the quaint town of Clarksville, or nearby breweries/wineries. The cottage offers an open view of the lake and use of a dock (150 yds from house) for fishing, swiming, docking watercraft or watching the sunset. Lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bath home on Lake Gaston. The waterfront property also has a boat dock and place to dock and tie up your own boat. There is a neighborhood boat ramp.. There are 2 single kayaks, and firepit.. The gourmet kitchen is well equipped with whatever you need. In season, there is an herb garden for guest use. The home is set in a quiet neighborhood that allows privacy. There is extra sleeping space with a queen size air mattress and 2 sofas (not sofa beds)..

The Hawk's Nest (Pets welcome, no fee)

This house is surrounded by growth. High trees provide shade while grilling out and the wooded lot gives a feeling of being somewhere much more remote. There are exactly seventy stairs to the water. The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.
