Welcome to Tall Cedars, Experience the Olympic Peninsula at this private, serene hideaway - surrounded by old cedars, ferns, huckleberries & more. It is well equipped for a cozy getaway in the forest, including a hot tub! This home is a short 5-minute drive from the Salt Creek Recreation Area which includes Crescent Beach (surf & sand), Striped Peak (hiking trails & views) & Tongue Point (excellent tide-pooling). Yet just a 20-minute drive from town in Port Angeles for easy shopping & dining.

This is a little slice of Heaven… Your cabin has high bluff waterfront amazing views, overlooking the Salish Sea… It literally overlooks Freshwater Bay, Vancouver Island, & San Juan Islands, & Victoria BC. (Beach access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. And, we know you will enjoy and love your stay, "By the Sea".

Indulge in tranquility at this riverside cabin. Relax by the gas fireplace or cook in the elegant kitchen with a view of the river and mossy trees from the deck. Explore the outdoors on the nearby Discovery Trail (0.08 miles). Visit Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, and La Push. Forks and Kalaloch are nearby. Enjoy entertainment on two TVs (1 Blu-ray, 1 Wi-Fi), 50 dvds available, but note there's no dishwasher, and Wi-Fi and cell service may be INTERMITTENT.

Relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck of this unique glamping site. This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.

From the shared patio, sit and enjoy your coffee or wine and look right down the Elwha Valley to the majestic Olympic Mountains with a view of the Elwha River and Mt. Carrie glacier. The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!
