This recently renovated, spacious studio is the perfect base to explore everything Whangarei Heads has to offer. This studio is set in a beautiful quiet environment, with native trees, bush, and serenity. Only a few minute's drive from central Whangarei, this offers you the best of both worlds. We are two minutes walk away from one of the beautiful Parahaki walks which takes you to the lookout at the top.

This is a small cabin suitable for short stays, the bedroom is small but it is compensated by the location, deck, bathroom & beach which are great. Sit on kayaks & stand-up paddle are available free of charge. Tidy comfortable cabin just meters from a lovely private beach & walking distance to cafes, fishing club & pizzeria. No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

Take a break and enjoy the peace and beauty of the Waipu hills. The cabin is located well away from the main house with it's own carport. It has a kitchenette with fridge, hotplates, microwave and a small oven . The spacious deck is prefect for outdoor dining. Relax and enjoy the rural views or head out and explore the area. Waipu township just 10 mins away. Waipu Cove and Uretiti beaches 15-20 mins. Waipu Caves and Piroa Fall are definitely worth a visit too.
