Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Rautjärvi

This wonderful lakeside log cabin is located 25 km north from Mikkeli. The cabin, finished in 2014, invites you to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Finnish nature. It's cosy and decorated with high-class natural materials and comfortable furnishings and is fully equipped with a modern, compact open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, each with 160 cm x 200 cm beds, loft room with a king size bed, an inviting living room and dining area, bathroom, sauna, separate toilet and a terrace.

Huoneisto vanhassa koulussa

Huoneisto entisen kyläkoulun suojaisassa päädyssä. Huoneistossa tupakeittiö, avoin makuuhuone ja kylpyhuone. Makuupaikka neljälle. Parisänky makuuhuoneessa ja levitettävä sohva olohuoneessa. Huoneistossa on opettajan koroke ja ulkoportaat, ei ole siis esteetön. Ulkosauna lämpenee lisämaksusta. Asunto sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella, 8km keskustasta. Muu osa rakennuksesta on majoittajan omassa käytössä. Pihalla on tilaa oleskella ja esim. grillata. Sopii hyvin myös lapsiperheille.

Viihtyisä ja kodikas yksiö toivottaa teidät tervetulleeksi! Asunto sijaitsee järvenrannalla aivan Ammattikorkeakoulun ja uimahallin vieressä. Kivenheiton päässä Savonlinnan keskusta, sekä tori. Asunnolle kävelee nopeasti bussi- sekä juna-asemalta. Auto on mahdollista parkkeerata ilmaiseksi vieraspaikoille. Upeat puistomaisemat kutsuvat ulkoilemaan ja nauttimaan Saimaan ympäristöstä. Kohteen rauhallisessa tunnelmassa on mukava rentoutua ja yöpyä. Tervetuloa majoittumaan!

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

We have very good beds and you sleep well! Nighttime any noice. Very silence place. Have a good night and sweet dream! Every sheets and towels is ready on the beds. Varila, renovated in 2020, is a wooden cottage fit to accomodate small families. The surroundings of the cottage are in undisturbed, natural state with spaceous view to Lake Saimaa. The surrounding pine moor is perfect for backpacking and berry or mushroom picking. location is very private no neighbor is sight. excellent place to go fishing. cottage has an ecological toilet in a separate building

Asunto sijaitsee siistissä kerrostalossa, idyllisen Linnankadun ja Koulukadun kulmauksessa. Lähellä ovat Savonlinnan tärkeimmät maamerkit; Olavinlinnaan ja maakuntamuseolle on noin 400 m, torille n. 500 m. Aivan talon pihassa on Pikku Kakkosen Leikkipuisto ja uimaranta. Remontoitu ja valoisa koti sijaitsee kirkasvetisen Saimaan rannalla n. 2km keskustasta. Tänne on helppo saapua autolla, bussilla tai kävellen. Parvekkeelle paistaa ilta-aurinko joten lämpötila asunnossa on miellyttävä helteelläkin.
