Sundari Retreat

Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Facilities Broadband Internet Easy access Electric blankets Fridge Microwave Mobile coverage Radio/Hi-Fi/Stereo TV VCR 2 element cooking unit Picnic basket and blanket in studio. Beachside B & B

The guest suite occupies the downstairs portion of our house. It is self contained with a private entrance from a deck leading to the garden. It has a large master bedroom, a lounge with kitchenette & separate bathroom. The bathroom is bright, light & has modern fittings with shower, WC & vanity. The lounge includes a sofa bed, window seat, dining area & kitchenette, with facilities to self cater if required. There is a garden gate which gives access to the nature reserve, river and beach.

Peaceful beach house in Waikanae Beach

Located within a couple of minutes walk from beach, has 3 restaurant/bars all with indoor and outdoor seating, a 4 square, dairy and fish & chip shop, organic chocolate shop are also within 0.5km from the house. two major supermarkets are 4 km away. There are lovely walks up the river and around the lakes. train station is approx 4km giving access to wellington city. DVD player is no longer available Envirowaste is the bin for general rubbish, tub for glass yellow lid bin for recycling

A Waterside retreat - Waikanae Beach

A characterful and private bach overlooking Waimanu lagoon with views to the Tarurua Ranges inland. Just a short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks. Accommodation includes a twin room downstairs next to the bathroom, queen bedroom on the mezzanine and another living space with a futon sofa bed. Outside seating areas front and back. Wake up to see ducks and swans on the water - a truly relaxing and secluded place to unwind.

Cosy bach on beach, Raumati South, Kapiti Coast

Beachfront - only a single lane servicing one other property separates bach from the beach. Breath-taking views of the breaking waves, and from the Kaikouras to Kapiti Island. Wellington is 48kms away (an approximately 50 minute drive). Two fantastic cafes/licensed restaurants, plus a takeaway shop and dairy/convenience store 300m away. A great bach for a romantic escape, a family holiday, or to spend time with friends. Go to sleep snuggled in luxury linen to the murmur of the waves.

Olde Beach Villa is a modern and spacious holiday home on New Zealand's Kapiti Coast in a brilliant location. It is a mere stroll across the road to the beach and a minutes walking to popular cafes, restaurants, convenience store, bakery and tennis courts. Our holiday home offers spacious open-plan living, ideal for entertaining, and comprises a large sitting-dining area, fully equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This is our Bach we have set up to enjoy with our family and friends. If you would like to use it for a weekend or short stays get in touch with us. (Free Wifi). It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. A bach is a small, often very modest holiday home or beach house. Baches are an iconic part of New Zealand history and culture, especially in the middle of the 20th century, where they symbolised the beach holiday lifestyle that was becoming more accessible.

Free wifi, cleaning and breakfast. My place is close to a beautiful, sandy and family beach. The house has a large three level deck with plenty of room for families and friends. It is a short walk to great local cafes/restaurants, a bakery and two well stocked dairies. Continental breakfast provisions provided for all guests. Linen, towels and beach towels provided free of charge. Our cleaner sorts the house after the stay and changes all the beds.

A BLUE TRIANGLE at Raumati Beach

Our sunny, comfortable, two-storey house is ideal for a couple or a couple with small children. The master bedroom/ living area upstairs is spacious with beautiful views of Kapiti Island. The stairs are a little awkward for the elderly and the very young although we now have carpet tiles on the stairs. There is no handrail. There is no bathroom upstairs. Sitting/ kitchen area downstairs and the bathroom and second bedroom are also downstairs.

Near new one bedroom apartment with stunning views of sea, South Island, Kapiti Island. Huge deck to enjoy the sun and views. Beach across the road and close to Queen Elizabeth Park. Ideal for walking or cycling. Walking distance to the highly recommended Raumati South Social Club and Sunday Cantina Restaurants. The perfect romantic getaway. You will not be disappointed. Raumati studio unit

Less than 500 metres to the beach and Raumati village, the studio unit fits 2 people comfortably but can sleep up to 3. A five minute stroll to several cafes and eatery's. Fully self contained with small bathroom and kitchenette. Approximately 40 minutes to Wellington city. You will be welcomed by our friendly and enthusiastic puppy who lives in the contained back yard of our place.
