You can reach us on a 36 km stretch of scenic gravel road to come and enjoy the beauty and sounds of nature while staying in this unique off the grid place in the Kouga Baviaans mountain wilderness area. For winter the cottage is equipped with electric blankets, a gas heater as well as an indoor fireplace with a good supply of wood and more available to buy should you run out. A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
