The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Stay in a modern farmhouse on a 13 acre homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about a 10-15 minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings, home of Kool-Aid, several craft breweries, Main Street shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. We lovingly refer to our state as The Neb and it has lots to offer -- beautiful landscapes, stunning sunsets, bright stars, and good people. Come visit our AirBnB in the middle of everywhere. Our second story suite is clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers & families. Your reservation will provide you with all 3 bedrooms, private bathroom & a commons area. Original 130 plus year old wooden floors have been restored, bedroom floors are carpeted. Separate semi-private entrance. Separate A/C and Heat. Off street parking. We reside on the main floor. Close to the historical downtown. Unique pergola outdoor living space to relax.

1 Bedroom Shed in Country Perfect for Crane Season

Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

Seas the Day

One of a kind "beach vacation" in central Nebraska! A Caribbean ambience has been quasi recreated in this 1,600 sq. foot space NW of Kearney. The property sits amidst the Nebraska prairie with incredible views of the sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. It's only 10 minutes and all paved roads to Kearney's north shopping district, to the University, and both hospitals. Guests rave about the view, amenities, and peacefulness while being so close to town. Many return and book directly.

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a TV (no TV service) that can be used for DVD's. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!! TV in the cabin is for DVD's only.

Country Getaway - 13 Acres - Pet Friendly

Stay in a cabin on a homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about 10-minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome, and folks should know there are three barn cats on the property.

Cozy Cabin on the River

This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.

The Hideaway in Gibbon

Our cozy industrial home is the perfect hideaway in Gibbon. Located just 1 mile outside of town, you will be close to the local businesses and restaurants. Gibbon is one of the premier towns in the country to watch the Sandhill Cranes migration and is home to one of the largest traveled railways by the Union Pacific.
