Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

The little Guinea fowl Cottage is part of a high security villa located in the select Upper Constantia area. Set at the foot of the densely forested eastern slopes of Table Mountain, the property is half surrounded by the Green Belt, opposite to Cecelia Forest and less than 2km away from the world famous Kirstenbosch Garden. We have an inverter as a back up during load shedding + our own water treatment plant for high quality water directly from the tap, better than any plastic bottled water.

Secure off street parking behind an automatic gate. There is a comfortable queen size bed, lots of cupboard space and a relaxing area to watch TV in comfort from the couch. The kitchenette is well equipped, and the en-suite bathroom with shower completes the studio. French doors open onto a private patio and garden. Wi fi and DSTV premium.

Situated on the west coast of the Peninsular 50 minutes to Cape Town City Center one way and 25 mins to Cape Point gate the other way. Noordhoek beach is to the right and Long Beach to the left of the house.

Private garden studio separate from the main house, offering a quiet space with its own entrance and secure, off-street parking behind a gate. There is an enclosed patio with a Webber BBQ. Close to major highways, very near the Kenilworth Racecourse and 2kms away from a vibrant village with restaurants and pubs. You will find a convenience store, hair salon and coffee shop 200 meters away. For power backup, we have an UPS for the WIFI, a gas cooker and rechargeable light bulbs and light.

Newlands cricket is five minutes walk .
