"Kunitsukami" araka-tanaka is a traditional Japanese 'machiya' is centrally-located in Gion. It was designated in Gion historic district building by Kyoto City Gov. The house was built in 1892, and was completely restored under the supervision of Kyoto City Gov, and it was stand up for historical Gion principle. It is rented an entire house, and private!

TABITABI MITSU is a fully renovated 100-year-old Kyoto machiya near Rokuharamitsuji Temple. This private entire house offers a calm stay for one group per day. The entrance features historic stone paving once used for Kyoto’s streetcars. The flooring showcases traditional “Naguri” hand-carved textures. Enjoy a serene garden view and relax in the semi-open-air bath with a Shigaraki ceramic tub. Upstairs includes a tatami room and bedroom with refined design details.

We are located in Kawaramachi near downtown and convenient for public transit, just 10 min from JR Kyoto Station by taxi, 6 min walking distance from the Kawaramachi subway station, and easy access to the shopping and areas. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.

Just 6 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. 五条坂近くのリノベーション京町家です。 築百年の京町家を、古き良き時代の風情を愉しむゲストハウスにしました。 消臭・調湿効果のある珪藻土、檜や杉などの無垢材を使用し、仕上げにまでこだわった贅沢自然素材リノベーションです。杉の無垢材を天井全面に敷き詰め、柱や框や巾木など細部にも檜の無垢材を用いるなど、本物の自然素材の心地よさが感じられ、檜の香りが満ちあふれる空間になっています。 京阪電車清水五条駅4番出口徒歩約6分、京都を代表する観光地清水寺近くの「東山の六原・清水エリア」にあります。清水寺をはじめ、建仁寺・安井金比羅宮・六波羅蜜寺・宮川町・祇園などの観光地は徒歩圏です。

This is a nice place to visit Kyoto, just near the river Shirakawa, a really nice place sometimes used for movies or series. The house is near Chioin, Kodaiji, Higashiyama, Yasaka shrine. Just near the house, there is an old market where you can buy and eat Japanese food.
