Bring your family to this lakefront walk out lower level of the house with two queen bed . There is wood burning fireplace,a big yard with zip line and play ground perfect for a family with kids getaway . There’s a fire pit out side, the dock to sit and enjoy the lake. The yard is shared with owners (respectful family of 4 and friendly dog) living upstairs. Please park in the driveway. It’s only 20 minutes to downtown Calgary . Have some adventures, or just relax, at this unique cabin retreat. Located in Alberta’s beautiful Foothills bordering on to famous Kananaskis country. Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. Pre arranged horse accommodation available if you want a bed and bail experience with your horse (Contact for details) at an additional cost. Winter visits only possible with a 4x4 vehicle

Raven’s Nest Cabin-tucked away in the trees

Totally disconnect at the Raven’s Nest a back to basics rustic tiny cabin tucked away in the trees. The cabin is close to the main residence but completely private with a private gated entrance and free parking a short walk to the cabin. The cabin is heated by a small wood stove and an oil heater, has a small kitchen area and a loft with a queen bed. Please note there is no running water and the bathroom is an outhouse a short walk away. There is no cell service or wifi at the cabin.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
