Hakoniemi - Old log house in Northern Saimaa

”Hako” stands for a spruce tree or a tree lying in the swamp or in the water, waiting for clearing. Hakoniemi is a coniferous peninsula in North Karelia, located in the inland archipelago of Northern Saimaa. The creative space in Rääkkylä, Oravisalo, provides a framework for working and leisure, combining creativity and nature.The 1925s old farm has got a new life as a center of creative activity where you can organize workshops, events, marketing projects and tourist and accommodation services.

Majoitu keskellä Kiteetä, torin kulmalla, kaikki palvelut on kävelymatkan päässä. Talo on 50-luvulta ja sisustus 90- luvulta. Makuuhuoneessa parisänky ja olohuoneessa kaksi 80 cm sänkyä. Lisävuodemahdollisuus kahdelle 10cm patjoilla.Keittiö on retro nykyaikaisilla koneilla kuitenkin.Wc pieni mutta puhdas ja siisti. Suihkutilat on alakerrassa, yhteiset toisen huoneiston kanssa, lukittava ovi. Puuvillaiset Marimekon vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet pestään hajustamattomalla pesuaineella ja mankeloidaan.

Entinen lastulevytehdas rakennutti aikoinaan vierailleen sauna- ja majoitustilat Oriveden rannalle. Päätalossa on noin 150 neliötä. Sen jälkeen sinne on rakennettu tunnelmallinen kota, turvekattoinen savusauna ja viihtyisä korsu. Päätalon ja kodan lisäksi voi vuokrata valmiiksi lämmitetyn savusaunan tai korsua lisämaksusta. Kaunis, kunttamainen maasto, jossa liikutaan pitkospuita pitkin eri paikkojen välillä. Toinen laituri on uimista varten ja toinen vaikkapa auringonottoon tai joogailuun.

Ihastu tätä majapaikkaa ympäröivään upeaan maisemaan. Huvila sijaitsee Sirkkalammen rannalla kauniin kirkkaan veden äärellä. Se sijaitsee noin 17km päässä keskustasta. Mökissä on juokseva kylmä ja lämmin vesi. Vesi on juomakelpoista. Myös sisä vessa ja suihku. Puu sauna jossa on kaunis maisema lammelle. Löytyy keittiö kalusteita kuten jääkaappi, pakastin, uuni, liesi, mikro, astianpesukone, veden ja kahvinkeitin. Myös pyykinpesukone löytyy. Auringon valo tulee mökille koko päivän ajan.
