Barn Loft in Cong

A perfect location to relax & explore Cong, Connemara & the West of Ireland. The barn loft is situated 1.5 miles from Ashford Castle/Cong Village. The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Use of a large mature garden and a short walk to Lough Corrib. Freezer is available & storage for bicycles and fishing equipment. Free parking & dog friendly.

A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

The house offers a mix of modern and traditional features, with fully equipped kitchen, wood burner, oil central heating, WiFi and modern amenities.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

You can walk to the sea in just under one minute while unwinding in our sauna after. Situated 15km north of Galway City (just off the N84) and 3km from Lough Corrib our 48sqM apartment is an ideal base to explore Connemara, South Mayo, Galway City, The Cliffs Of Moher and The Wild Atlantic Way plus the wonderful variety of very Local amenities. Recently rennovated our apartment has a cosy but modern feel. Below our apartment is our vibrant music based community pub and pizza kitchen. A tidy workdesk and lamp is also available for remote working.
