The perfect spot to unwind and recharge whether relaxing in the garden with views over Jura, Islay and Gigha or warming your toes by the fire after a long day exploring the peninsula. The cottage is in a rural location about 3 miles from Clachan, 4 miles from Tayinloan.

The Vestry, St. Columbas Church

We have a quirky vestry, suitable for 2 adults or small family, attached to a converted church on Whiting Bay seafront. The Vestry has recently been converted to a high standard. It has a super kingsize bed plus a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. TV, cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. Shower room/toilet. Views from the living room look out onto the sea and it's a stones throw away from the beach. Separate entrance with garden. Free parking. Bedlinen and towels provided. Free wifi.

Take the long and winding road to Carradale - this end of terrace Victorian stone built cottage provides a cosy retreat for couples or small family. Airds Wood Cottage is situated in the centre of this peaceful village, just a few minutes walk from the working harbour and a selection of forest walks. Choice of 3 glorious beaches within 6 miles. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.
