Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Himri the mountain villa

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Cozy little cabin in the quiet and beautiful countryside of Kjos, panoramic views of mountains and the surrounding countryside. Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking paths. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. For summertime visits (July), we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.

Being situated quite high in the hill it benefits with magnificent views, overlooking Hvalfjordur, Eilifsdalur, Midfjordur and its surrounding mountains, rivers and ocean.
