Giggling Tree Resort is located less than 5 minutes walk from beach and port. It is a small family business, there are just 6 rooms and 8 bungalows, all newly renovated (2024) This mini studio is very cozy, with nice design and comes with a kingsize bed, a flatscreen TV, and a large fully equipped kitchen! Fridge, freezer, gas stove, kettle and amenities to make your own coffee or teaAlso convenient is that the toilet and shower are in two separate spaces. This mini studio comes with a patio.

Koh Tao Townhouse has several rooms, apartments and studios all over Maehaad area. This room is brandnew, just opened August 2025. In the buidling there are 9 rooms, and guests share a hallway and outside seating area. This room comes with 2 comfortable kingsize beds, in the vide, a private bathroom with hot shower, and a large smart TV. There are coffee/tea amenities and a fridge, en many shops bars and 711 in the area, still a quiet place for a good night sleep or catch a ferry next morning.
