Guests can enjoy comfortable temperatures at this higher elevation thanks to the cool mountain breeze. With its convenient location, both the airport and the town are within a 10 to 15-minute drive. Great place to escape and enjoy the Big Island!

The AC is powerful for when the tropical breeze isn't quite cool enough, The WIFI is reliable and there is a large screen TV with ROKU for when you just want to hang out. Charming Cottage

This quaint & private little cottage is in the Kaloko native Hawaiian forest of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Less than 15 minutes from Kona Airport & less than 15 minutes from town (6.7 miles). Not located in town. Elevation is approx. 2200 ft above sea level. Great if you are looking to experience a tropical forest. Due to severe allergies we are unable to host any animals. Not suitable for children. Must use phone navigation to locate as we are in a rural area :)

The accommodation is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with convenient parking. At a higher elevation, the area is much cooler and breezier than staying in town and you can fall comfortably asleep in our comfortable queen-sized bed, listening to the sounds of coqui frogs and waking up to the beautiful sound of birds. Situated on the island's western side at a cool 1300ft elevation, this small cottage is suitable for two people. Privacy is the keyword. This is a quiet, clean, peaceful place with A/C. It is near the airport, town, and beautiful beaches, located in a safe, affluent neighborhood. After the lava eruption on the other side of the island in 2018 subsided, we are now thrilled to have the best air quality and blue skies since 2007!
