Kalappura Houseboats

Our Houseboat is a traditional Kerala houseboat made of Wooden Barge and palm leaves & it includes all kind of modern amenities. The boat is deliberately built in a small size which allows you to easily navigate through the tantalizing narrow canals and backwater villages of Alappuzha. We operate different cruise packages & for upgraded packages we anchor on a lonely lake at night so that you can see the sunset and sunrise over the lake and spend the night on our boat in a quiet village area.

The Backwater Rhapsody, Alleppey

The Backwater Rhapsody is a private villa on the banks of Vembanad lake with expansive views of the lake and Pathiramanal Island. We have two types of rooms; 4 Standard Rooms & 1 Suite Room with king bed (All air conditioned) An idyllic oasis where guests can relax in the common garden or sit outs and enjoy the waterfront with their families away from the bustle of their busy schedules. The property is about 250 Meters away from the ‘Kayipuram’ boat Jetty about 15 mins from Alappuzha town.

This is a scenic lake-house in the backwaters of Vaikom, Kumarakom, Kerala. The spacious house is nestled in greenery with a lakeside view, a comfortable patio and 3 bedrooms with their own private bathrooms, a separate kitchen with a cooking gas connection, utensils, microwave, fridge and water purifier. You can also ask for a personal cook who can make all three meals for you at no extra cost. To enjoy the beauty of the lake, you can also go for a backwater boatride from the lake-house.
