Fully operational open kitchen and dining area. Cabin is one big room with a separate full bathroom. Back porch is a great place to view the stars. Cabin is nestled in the woods with waterfront on the Colorado River. Fish, hike, kayak, enjoy the birds and relax along the beautiful river.

BBQ on the outdoor propane grill and enjoy a campfire under the stars (bring your own firewood). 2 miles off highway. Pets OK with a $25 per pet fee. Up to three. Our cabins are located on 17 acres with Longhorns that live on the property .Only 3 1/2 miles to lively Round Top!

Homestead Cabin w/ Hot Tub @ Scenic Hill Retreat

Tucked away in the eastern section of our woods, the Homestead Cabin is a private retreat oasis with a hot tub. The Homestead Cabin is an original 1850’s hand-hewn log cabin, lovingly restored for your enjoyment. Doors, trim, cabinetry and railings were made with wood that was original to the cabin.

Perfect escape! Custom built cabin nestled in the woods. Tranquility awaits you among the beautiful trees, wildlife and star gazing. Although we do live on the 20 acre property, the cabin is secluded and the surrounding grounds and pond is completely fenced. No pets please. NO CLEANING FEE!
