Built in 1600, this old water mill was fully restored four years ago, maintaining its rustic charm. It is surrounded by nature and offers the ideal break from the hassles of city life, be it with friends, family or just by yourself. Latest internet tech makes it a perfect working 'staycation'. It boasts a shaded 'al fresco' area at the rear, a sun drenched garden in the front, and is set in a small hamlet with ancient cobbled traffic-less roads. Guests must have transport to stay in Casoli, there is no public transport. The accomodation is a unique tower in this peacful, beautiful Tuscan village. If you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. The location is perfect for spring / summer walks or trips to the sea and more.

The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. Please note there is a 1€ tourist tax per person for the first 3 nights to be paid cash upon arrival.

The MOONLIT & SUNNY COTTAGE near Florence

IL COLLE DI FALTUGNANO: immersed in an olive grove on a Tuscan hills and with an amazing view of the valley, the stone cottage has been remarkably recovered a few months ago, a caravanserai a few century ago. In a strategic position close to Florence is a good base for exploring Tuscany and be independent at the same time with supermarkets and restaurants just a few minutes away. Close to a farmhouse you can buy fresh local organic ingredients, such as bio vegetables, eggs or cheese.

The Arches - a beautifully renovated apartment

'The Arches' is a beautiful, traditional Garfagnana home. The building is around 500 years old, and is thought to be at the very heart of the original Cardoso, with the village growing around this centre over the next few centuries. Recently restored, the house has many original features, including wooden beams, terracotta tiles and its two distinctive arches. Quality features complement this history in the form of two modern bathrooms, central heating and a contemporary kitchen.

Un luogo in mezzo alla natura, adatto per chi vuole uscire dalla quotidianità e rilassarsi!La struttura comprende un ampia cucina con caminetto, una sala, due camere e un bagno. All'esterno vi è un forno a legna e un barbecue. Tutta la vallata è percorsa dal torrente Cesarano e per chi ha voglia di fare una sana passeggiata sono molti gli itinerari da seguire, dove vi è possibile incontrare diversi animali selvatici oltre a quelli dell'azienda stessa!
