If you are into nature and country life, this is the place to be. The outside screened porch, you will see birds of many species. Breaux Bridge is 10-15 minutes away which includes antiquing and great Cajun cuisine. If you are interested in the seasonal festivals, downtown Lafayette is 10-15 minutes away. Other attractions include the Bird Sanctuary, Lake Martin, and if you are lucky, you can spot an Alligator! The "Bird's Nest" has one queen size bed, with a private attached full bathroom!
