Modern and furnished with a nola flair, this apartment is the perfect home away from home for short-term stays. King bed in one room, and queen size bed in the second bedroom with 400 thread count sheets and a pull-out full size bed n the living room. a comfy couch and tvs with Rokus make hanging out fun in the comfortable living room. Bathroom has a great shower and white fluffy towels. I will let guests enjoy New Orleans on their own but if they need me I will be there in a second! The house is in Uptown New Orleans. It's within walking distance to a legendary music venue, grocery store, coffee shop, brewery, the delicious cheese fries at F&M's patio bar, and James Beard's award-winning Shaya restaurant beta We’ve put our heart and soul into making this a special space. Stylish Guesthouse in Historic Building near Audubon Park

The interior design and furnishing is modern, but accent walls and other features are constructed of original materials. The guest house has a full kitchen and includes a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The living room has a 55 inch TV and the bedroom has a 32 inch TV. The queen sized bed is a 12 inch memory foam mattress - very comfortable. The Guest House has central air and heat. The bathroom has a lovely glass tile shower. Ceiling height peaks at 13 feet. The Guest House is located in rear of the property. The neighborhood is very safe and the Guest House is particularly safe and secure. I live in the main house and will be available to assist with guest needs. The guesthouse is tucked away behind a gorgeous "shotgun" house and is located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. An urban walker's paradise, it's steps from Magazine Street with its great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Magazine Street bus is accessible steps from the Guest House. The St. Charles Street car line is a 10 minute walk down State Street. The neighborhood is quite walkable and bike friendly. Please take a look at my house manual. It has many tips for navigating the house and the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on the street but no off-street parking.

We have a private launch on Bayou Terrebonne for your free use, or if you prefer the Pointe aux Chenes or Cocodrie marinas are just 20 minutes away. Sleeps 6 with fully furnished kitchen, and ample parking space for boats and cars. Fish cleaning station and crab boiling and fish frying equipment provided. Pets allowed for $40 fee. Free wifi. Our retreat is an hour and 30 minutes from New Orleans.
