The Balcony Gîte - Riverside Lagrasse

From the moment you open the substantial front door, Mother Nature invites you in with a sweeping vista of the tree-lined limestone cliffs across the way and lush plant life blooming all around. Droves of doves and swifts constantly coo and dart their way back and forth across the expansive sky above, roosters crow, church bells chime, and the Orbieu River provides soothing background music around the clock as it continues to flow by the rocky beach and garden terrace just below.

Nestled on the edge of the forest, on a small farm in hilly surroundings, you will find our exceptional cottages, built of wood, with views of the Pyrenees. Experience an unusual time out with us, whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, as a family or with friends. Refresh yourself with a fantastic mountain view in our pool and enjoy the beautiful sunset from there. You can book the houses individually or as a group with up to all four. La Carança, mountain house. Calm and nature!

Beautiful 17th-century renovated house, spanning 3 floors with over 100m². Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

Comfortable home in beautiful Lagrasse

The house is situated in the beautiful medieval village of Lagrasse with its cobbled streets, quiet squares, 8th century abbey and very own river beach for swimming all a short walk away. The house, is centrally placed in a quiet road with no through traffic. There is excellent wifi throughout the house. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Two double bedrooms, one of which has 2 additional double sofa beds and a desk for home working. A modern bathroom with large shower.

Treat yourself to a stay in a self-contained studio within my home, located in the centre of the historic and stunning medieval village of Lagrasse. Ideal for a few days, this contemporary styled ground floor studio apartment is 25m², has a fully equipped kitchen area and en suite shower room. No early check-in or late check out possible, and please note that it is not suitable for babies and children.
