A five-minute walk from the house to the Metra train taking you to downtown Chicago, a 1 hour train ride. Minimum 3 nights.

The newly renovated space has everything you need for a relaxing getaway—huge comfy couch, brand new bed with Brooklinen + Parachute bedding, pristine bathroom, and lots of amenities. Downtown Highland Park, Highwood, + the beach are just a walk away. There's access to grocery stores, restaurants, and shops, and you can retreat to the quiet of your studio when you're ready to unwind. Ps. For the winter months: We've got heated floors.

No parties but have a good time. This house is on well water which some people do not like at all. There is water cooler with hot and cold on demand and a Britta pitcher as well. Handicap accessible. Smart TV and Wifi available. Kitchen basics but more available upon request especially for long-term. Accomodations for the eight include someone on the sofa/air mattress. There's only one bathroom. 2 rooms are up stairs steeper than some prefer. Main BR and bathroom on 1st floor.

Be amazed on the walk out lake view wood deck in the back yard, and watch sunsets fall over the bay and color the sky. The back patio is a great place to relax, entertain & relax. Fish or dock your watercraft at our pier if needed. There is an optional 5-6 person hot tub on the back deck for you to relax and unwind (See access and maintenance fee). Getaway to a cozy 1 bedroom w/loft for 2, up to 6 people. Full kitchen 1.5 bath all season getaway. There is a piano as well. A tranquil home steps from a private lake. Oak and Pine surround you plus a stone fireplace, it feels like the North Woods. The A Frame guest house shares a 5 acre compound ( total 20 Acres) with the owners residence and caretaker cottage. The Volo Bog 800ft away. No hot tub Nov - May. Swimming pool usually June-October often cool to use in early June.

Hensley’s Cornerstone, Lakefront.

I affectionately refer to this house as “The House That Built Me.” Referencing (of course) the title of country artist Miranda Lamberts hit song, from 2010. The lyrics couldn’t be more accurate. My name is Crystal, and this is The House That Built Me. My father bought this property in 1970. He married my mother and her two children in 1976. I was brought home from the hospital in 1977 & raised here with my siblings, until eventually we all married and left home.
