Self contained cottage surrounded by amazing bird life, kangaroos, emus, echidna, wallabies and deer. Country life with all the comforts. Homemade bread, farm eggs, mulberry jam / butter , teas / coffee, milk are all provided for guests to make breakfast at their leisure. Our retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We are located 5 minutes from Halls Gap, and close to all the Grampians has to offer including local wineries.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located house. Swampgum Rise is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.

This accommodation is new to us, but a beautiful addition to our Lodges Accommodation in Halls Gap. The place also offers Free Wifi and Netflix. A slow combustion wood heater is perfect for those special cosy nights.
