Just a quick mile (3 minutes) to the interstate makes this place close enough to be convenient and far enough to be quiet. Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

To top it all off breakfast items will be provided to start your day off on the right foot before you set out to explore Cornell's Campus or Historic Uptown.

Cozy Cottage

Our place is close to everything! A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. Our Pretty Suite is an adorable getaway located in the quaint town of Swisher (near airport). A historical building remodeled as a pretty little honeymoon or bridal suite, the space is suitable for bridal parties, honeymooning, or girls' getaways. The suite sleeps 7-8 guests, includes a full kitchen and a romantic jacuzzi jet tub. You’ll love walking to the local coffee shop for a homemade pastry or staying in our dreamy retreat sipping an espresso.
