Cabin in the Missions

Cozy 1930s lumberjack cabin updated with modern plumbing. Enjoy coffee in the morning while watching the deer and other wildlife grazing and moving through the yard. Due to the wildlife situation we ask that you do not bring pets. Close to McDonald Lake (15 mins), Kickinghorse reservoir (10 minutes) and Flathead Lake (25 mins). Glacier park is only a bit over an hour to reach from here. Many local activities in the summer or plan a hike in the beautiful Mission mountains. Peaceful and relaxing.

Cow Creek Cabin sits in a peaceful meadow with a gorgeous view of Big Mountain. It is just two miles to downtown Whitefish and 15 minutes to the ski hill. This tranquil Montana setting is an ideal base for adventures in Whitefish. The cabin features vast windows bringing the mountain vista inside. A wood-burning stove awaits your return from a day on the slopes or trails. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals. This is a newly constructed cabin done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

The Cabin is on Woods Bay, 5 miles South of Bigfork. 45 miles to Glacier Park’s West entrance. Walking distance to 4 restaurants, & another 3 restaurants are 1 minute driving distance. Besides the many restaurants 5 miles away in Bigfork. The Cabin is very private but is on the same property of the main house. The property's beach doesn’t have a dock, but you can have access to SUP boards or kayaks for use in Woods Bay on request (rental companies charge $60/day/SUP).
