Swamp Camp offers a unique peaceful retreat to nature enthusiasts in the heart of Louisiana swamp country. We are at the dead end of quiet one mile road called “Happywoods.” Our camp, up on piers, is situated in the wetlands along the Tickfaw River and adjoining Tickfaw State Park. We look out onto a wilderness sanctuary with turtles, alligator, beaver and otter along with a variety of water birds among the characters. The camp is built centered on a 300 plus year old cypress tree.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located amid long-standing pines and on Louisiana's only tea farm. The perfect space for a get-away, this gorgeous cabin features bunk-beds, a twin bed and a separate queen bedroom. Sip your morning tea out on the pond under the gazebo as geese, ducks and turtles swim by or under the veranda covered in jasmine!
