Unwind in a sparkling clean hot tub under the stars and relax on your own private patio. Hot tub is open year around but Patio and BBQ are not available in winter Dec-Mar due to snow. (Hot tub quiet hrs 10-8 No music in hot tub) This is a cozy, spotless, downstairs retreat (BOTTOM FLOOR OF OUR HOME) with private entrance. Our little “Hakuna Matata” is a beautiful, cozy, private 2 room mother-in-law unit, with its own separate entrance It has a living room with full size futon, and bedroom with a sleep number King bed, kitchenette (induction plate, convection microwave, fridge) and full bathroom. We are permitted for 4 guests, more suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids, or 3 adults. Meaning of Hakuna Matata in Swahili is “NO WORRIES” - which is exactly what you will have “for the length of your stay”

Truckee River Bike House

ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants and shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you prefer a softer bed.
