Ashley's Retreat | Lake Tekapo

Relax, unwind and soak up spectacular mountain views at Ashley’s Retreat, a modern self-contained home ideally located in a peaceful cul-de-sac. Floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows and doors fill the open-plan living and dining area with natural light while framing panoramic views towards Mt John, the surrounding mountains and turquoise Lake Tekapo. A cosy wood-burning fireplace provides ample warmth in winter, while a heat pump offers convenient year-round heating and cooling.

Take a 3 minute walk to the wonderful shops and cafes on the Fairlie's Main Street and the famous Fairlie Bakehouse.

The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
