Ashley's Retreat | Lake Tekapo

~PET FRIENDLY - 1 pet only~ A modern cottage located in a quiet cul de sac, Ashley’s Retreat offers excellent views of Mt John and the turquoise coloured lake with the mountains beyond. The contemporary open plan living area has large floor to ceiling windows, giving panoramic views, with plenty of sun all year round. The deck captures all-day sun and a log burner fills the living space with glowing warmth. Pet Fee: $20 per night. 1 Pet only permitted- Please advise if you are bringing a pet.

Enjoy a starry, chocolate treat on arrival then head outside to relax in the hammock or take a drive down the famous Mackenzie Starlight Highway to soak up the glacier lake views at Lake Tekapo and starry night skies at Mt. John Observatory. Back to Lucky Star Cottage - fall asleep beneath the stars: Stargaze from the comfort of your own bed, through the master bedroom roof windows . Fill up on a free breakfast (including our very own free range eggs) before you leave. Have a WONDER-FULL stay!

Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Our newly built holiday home has been specifically designed so that you can indulge the epic mountain views and incredible night sky stars. Finished to a high standard and located on the outskirts of Twizel, Tussock Fields, offers everything you could desire for your stay in the Mackenzie, space for family and friends, total modern comfort, off street parking for all your vehicles and free wifi. Lily Cottage | Lake Tekapo

Fantastic location! A perfect getaway for couples or a solo retreat, this warm and cosy modern cottage is set on a peaceful, fully fenced rear section across from the lakefront.  Wander out to the lakefront walking track for panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. Walk just a few minutes more to reach the Church of the Good Shepherd and sheepdog memorial, then over the Tekapo footbridge (perfect location for photos!) to the village centre eateries & shops.

Wander Lodge - Cosy cottage in the forest.

Cosy cottage set in two hectares of forest. Log burner, outdoor pizza oven, well equipped kitchen, beautiful surroundings. Build huts, lay in the hammock or relax under the stars in the outdoor bath. Fully fenced so safe for kids to play & explore. Great for the snow in winter and lakes in summer. 30min to Dobson ski area, 45min to Fox Peak, 50 min to Roundhill. Lake Opuha 10 min. Take a day trip to Lake Tekapo (25min) to enjoy Tekapo Springs and Mt John Observatory.

Nestled in its very own private courtyard, Willow Retreat with its delightful ambience, offers you somewhere very special for a night or two. Brand new modern building with elegant interior, and coffee bar is the perfect place to escape. Sit on the verandah and sip upon a wine or coffee as the evening cools light the outdoor fire and simply enjoy! Take a 3 minute walk to the wonderful shops and cafes on the Fairlie's Main Street and the famous Fairlie Bakehouse.

The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

Fox Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom home, situated on Fox Peak Ski Field Road, near Fairlie South Canterbury. Due to its location, Fox Cottage is a perfect holiday destination for anyone who wishes to experience the great outdoors. With the Fox Peak Ski Field and the North Opuha Conservation Park only 10 minutes drive this home is perfect for those interested in tramping, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding or skiing.
