"Nordico Point" - Cozy Cabin on Mitchell Lake

Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Enjoy your morning coffee or tranquil evenings relaxing on the spacious deck. So many outdoor activities nearby to enjoy ~ golfing, ATV trails, hiking, biking, wolves, bears, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing to name a few. Birch River runs into twenty mile long Birch Lake known for its wilderness beauty and trophy northern pike and walleyes.

A true spot for R&R, the Sunset Cove Retreat is located in a quiet bay on Crane Lake. You won't run out of thing's to do, without even leaving the cabin! Swim off of the private beach, make s'more's over the outdoor fire pit, paddle on complimentary kayaks & canoe. Additional sleeping space for up to 6 more people is available if you add the bunkhouse on to your rental for an extra fee. This cabin is boat access only, please inquire for boat rental availability!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our 118 acre property contains mature white pine stands, beautiful pollinator fields, black spruce bog and is home to abundant wildlife. Early Frost Farms is a hobby farm specializing in vegetable growing. Our general store sells canned goods and ice cream treats. We are located right on Mesabi Bike Trail, 17 minutes from Giant's Ridge; 35 min. from Ely and the north shore.

"The Cedars on Shagawa", is a brand new cabin completed in 2022. Be one of the first to stay at this secluded elegant lake view cabin. With 200 feet of shoreline, the 1500 sq ft cabin is situated on 8 acres yet only a 5 minute drive to Ely. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family get together. All new beds/bedding, cozy sectional, laundry and 2 full baths are sure to make any length of stay enjoyable.

Wolf Cabin at Wilderness Wind

We are asking our guests to bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Thank you for your understanding. Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin on the shore of Lake Armstrong. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.

Modern Log Cabin - Shagawa Lake

Located at the heart of Ely on Shagawa Lake, this Modern Log Cabin is perfect for groups of family and friends to enjoy all the wonderful experiences that Ely and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness have to offer - in ALL seasons.
