Located on the Mcaslin Brook, this cabin is the perfect mix of a cozy getaway, while still having all of the amenities that you need! With tons of land there is room to park vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, or bring the boat up to fish on one of the many lakes in the area. The doc is also open for use for kayaks or paddleboats! Gorgeous UpNorth Log Cabin on Wheeler Lake

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on Wheeler Lake in Lakewood Wisconsin in the Nicolet National Forest. 2 beautiful bedrooms, pull out sofa, 3 bathrooms and a cozy living/dining/kitchen. Everything you need to a peaceful getaway in the North Woods. Enjoy the lake in summer. Fall colors and hunting in Fall. Snowmobile, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or be cozy by the fire in Winter. There is WiFi but it’s unreliable and slow. There are very few options in this remote location.

The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Great access to trails and Chain Lake

Drive your snowmobiles or UTVs out of the garage to the trails, or try fishing on Chain Lake. After a day of activities relax in large living room, or take a nap in one of 3 bedrooms. Prepare dinner in a fully equipped kitchen or walk to Anderson’s supper club. Located within 10 minutes to Bass Lake beach or Wheeler Lake beach. Walk to public fishing piers to catch your limit or simply enjoy the view of Chain Lake. Great family place with washer and dryer or great for a couples weekend.
