This unique stay pairs a cozy two-bedroom cabin with a dreamy treehouse, set on a quiet peninsula surrounded by water on three sides. Sip your morning coffee under the pergola as birds sing, paddle upriver by kayak, or unwind on the dock. End the day by the campfire or relax under the stars in the hot tub. The perfect blend of comfort, nature and tranquility awaits.

Pontiac cottage on the waterfront CITQ#: 294234

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

Located on a bend in the river you will feel surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river and boasts a very well appointed kitchen, sauna and hot tub. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.

The cabin is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. With 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch, the cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests. The cabin features infloor heating and a woodstove to keep you warm and cozy. We have a full-size hot tub and a wood fired sauna!

Barrhaven has a lot of parks, trails, restaurants, bars, cafe's, and shopping in the area.
