Enjoy a wee slice of heaven. Lifestyle block 5 min drive from CBD. Relax on the decks - beautiful views of Tararua Ranges, enjoy your favourite tipple with patio heaters, or curl up inside by the fire or just turn the heat pumps on! Plenty to do in the Wairarapa so enjoy exploring. Milk, teas, coffee, condiments etc available. This is my home (not a dedicated Airbnb house) so I hope you feel as much at home as I do. You’ll love my place because of Its proximity to town, the studio is a short 2 min walk from the Queen St shopping precinct, great cafes and restaurants and only a casual 5 min stroll to QEll Park. The two storied Studio is tucked in behind the 1879 cottage with its own private deck, comfortably appointed for couples seeking a Wairarapa getaway or business travellers needing a central location.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

Swan Lake Gardens Country Cottage.

This cottage is situated in the country in a farm setting.We are 2 kms from the Airport and on the road to Gladstone vineyard . It is a 5 min drive to the Kuripuni shopping complex with many restaurants, a movie theatre and a supermarket on hand . The gardens are open to our guests where you will enjoy seeing the mute swans and other birds including a pet peacock. This cottage is not suitable for young children we have farm machinery and large open water spaces on the property.
