Lots of local farmers’ markets, craft fairs, county fairs, antique shops. Great for couples, solo travelers and business travelers.

La Casita, The 1934 Tiny House

Relax and enjoy the quiet at this tranquil cottage. Built in 1934, tiny La Casita is a private retreat in downtown Laporte. Cozy up to coffee and a book on the porch or wind down after a day in the Endless Mountains. Historic Eagles Mere, the Loyalsock State Forest, trails and swimming at World’s End State Park are minutes away. A family playground sits down the block. Parts of La Casita have been lovingly remodeled in 2024, including its bath. Bedrooms offer 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 day bed.

We're also less than 5 miles from highway 15 and Interstates 80 and 180. Central PA has a charm to it, and we hope you think so too when you visit!

The local area provides opportunity for hiking, cross country skiing, fishing, kayaking, etc. Free street parking!

It offers a private getaway on 40 acres of wooded land encompassing a creek, walking trails on the old railroad tracks and much more. The cabin offers a kitchen with stove and refrigerator. Spend family time in the living space and loft. Sit on the porch and enjoy listening to the creek while grilling. WIFI included Worlds End State Park & Ricketts Glenn State Park are both located within 20 minute drive
