There is two bedrooms with Queen beds, and a kids bunk room has 3 single beds. One Bathroom with a Shower. A large main room with fireplace. Cabin is situated above a lovely stretch of beach, a perfect spot to catch the sun or launch your kayak or canoe. Situated on an acre of woodland across the street from the ocean, this two bedroom cabin was lovingly built from island timber by a local craftsman in 2022. The cabin sits across the road from a long sandy beach where humpback whales are commonly heard singing, and seen breaching. Whale song may literally wake you up at night! The cabin is centrally located in that you are just a few steps to the general store where you can find food, alcohol, movies, postal service and other such necessities.

Hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away or just unwind and take in the incredible sunsets. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
