Only 2 hours from Melbourne...a great base to explore the amazing country side and beautiful National Parks such as Tarra Bulga and Wilsons Prom...or sit back and relax after exploring the rain forest and natural bushland of our 50 hectare back yard!

Chill at Frog Hollow amidst our hobby farm with sheep, alpacas & chickens passing by or pop into one of the 3 towns within 12min to very good cafes/restaurants/takeaway or 15-50min to a choice of 3 wineries or a few breweries, to the Morwell or Tarra Bulga National Parks. Your own private farm and earthy retreat with loads of river frontage and glorious views. The Tyers River is fed from Mt Baw Baw snow fields and offers great trout fishing. Sections of the river are shallow in summer and relatively safe for kids. The farm is horse friendly with stables. Outdoor dining and quiet and secluded meditation spaces make this a great option for small groups on retreat. Kayaks, walking tracks. Rawson MTB tracks are a 5 min bike ride. The Walhalla pub is a 25 min drive.

The cosy guest cottage on our flower farm in South Gippsland offers amazing views from our lush green rolling hills, and a peaceful, comfortable, rural setting to read, paint, walk or nap. An easy 10 mins drive from the town of Mirboo North, we're 1.75hrs from Melbourne, and 30 mins from the coast, and 50 mins to Wilson's Prom. The cottage, with carefully-chosen vintage finds, is self-contained with two queen beds, a kitchenette, and renovated bathroom with Japanese toilet and Aesop products.

Koornalla Homestead Farm Stay

Koornalla Homestead has a fascinating history, it was moved from the gold fields of Walhalla 112 years ago on the back of a bullock dray. The homestead sits on 590 acres and is a working beef farm. Located in the beautiful Koornalla valley, it is a scenic drive to the popular Tarra-Bulga National park. On hot days there is a stone pebbled river, a short 2 min drive up the valley (Koornalla Farm Park) where you can picnic by the river, take a swim, practice fly fishing, skim rocks or just relax.
