The rammed earth cottage is over 100 years old. Thyme Lane is a rural setting in an historic gold mining area. It's near the Lake Dunstan cycle trail, the Central Otago Rail Trail & Lake Roxburgh Trail. Five minutes to Alexandra or Clyde. One hour’s drive to Queenstown. Enjoy the outdoor space, nearby vineyards and orchards, and local cafes. You'll have your own cottage with bedroom (kingsize bed), ensuite bathroom, and living room with kitchenette (microwave, single hotplate, sink). Weber BBQ.

Take it easy at this unique country cabin. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Soak in the outside bath. Close to Lake Hāwea hiking and biking trails. Boating and Cardrona and treble cone ski fields. The township of Wanaka with its many award winning restaurants and cafes is only 20km away. The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

Room With A View

Enjoy peace and privacy in a unique self-contained space with panoramic views of the Clutha River and surrounding mountains. As there is no wifi available its a great place to disconnect. Situated at Queensberry Hills we are a 20 minute drive from Cromwell and Wanaka and 60 minutes from the Queenstown airport. There are numerous vineyards in the area to enjoy a glass of local wine. If you enjoy walking there are a couple of tracks close by where you can enjoy the river or a good hill walk

Maori Point Vineyard Cottage

Maori Point cottage is nestled in our vineyard, 30km from Wanaka , with spectacular mountain views and access to the Clutha riverbank for walks or picnics. Warm in winter with underfloor heating and fireplace, the living areas include a full cook's kitchen which opens onto a verandah, lawn & native garden. The large upstairs bedroom has king bed and mountain views, downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with garden outlook. A quiet peaceful environment, and a good base for exploring.

Our cosy cottage is nestled amongst the vines at the home of Wild Irishman Vineyard. It offers 2 spacious bdrms w Queen beds & w/robes. Situated only 4mins drive to both Clyde & Alexandra, you're just moments to the Central Otago Rail Trail & Lake Dunstan trail among others. After cycling & exploring this wonderful region, take a swim in the shallows of the Clutha River (access at the bottom of our site) or relax in the sun on your own balcony. There are no cooking facilities. A separate sleeping area contains a comfortable queen sized bed and ensuite. A friendly cat lives in the main house.

Water will be in containers. The toilet it is a long drop with a great view. there is no Power (can supply a generator) This place is not for the townie or faint hearted who can’t handle the country life .
