Ballarat Crown Cottage on acreage ~ Self Check-In

Ideal for short and long term stays. Substantial discounted rates for stays a week or more for this self-contained house with peaceful and private surroundings. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, Lake Burrumbeet, YMCA swimming pool, art gallery, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. It’s a few minutes drive to Lucas shopping centre, 10-minute drive to the CBD and 20 minutes to Sovereign Hill. For safety reasons, the gas fireplace is not available but has 3 reverse cycle aircon.

The Nissen

The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. Enjoy the comfort of a wood fire and split system, fully equiped kitchen, and expansive views from the open plan living area. Wonderfully private and secluded considering its convenient central location, and featuring all modern appliances. Perfect for all occasions, a quirky yet comfortable gem in the heart of Castlemaine.

Blackwood "Treetops"

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Behind the modest façade lies a surprisingly spacious layout, with generous light-filled living and dining. Consisting of three bedrooms, one with an en suite and a separate modern bathroom. Directly across from the Botanic Gardens, the home is a short walk to the town centre. This is a smoke, pet and event free property.

The Container House and Sauna

The Container House and Sauna in Wombat State Forrest, Blackwood Victoria. Comprised of two fourty foot shipping containers, fitted out to create a unique and comfortable stay. With two bedrooms (1 queen and 1 bunk room) the house sleeps four comfortably. More beds may be available subject to availability. A seven minute walk to town, Blackwood Pub, Post Office Cafe, Blackwood Mineral Springs reserve, Lerdederg River and walking tracks. Warm yourself this winter with a relaxing hot sauna!

Set on an historic one-of-a-kind 1000 acre property in the Macedon Ranges, this charming cottage will provide the ultimate escape. The cottage is away from the workings of the day to day farm, with its own garden, so there is a feeling of privacy. It has a cosy wood fire, reverse-cycle aircon, Netflix, queen beds in both bedrooms and an additional single bed. The Garden Tap House is a short drive to Victoria's central wine region. The accommodation is great for couples, groups, & families and features 3 bedrooms; one with a queen bed and two bedrooms with two king singles in each. The backyard is a shared space with a cafe named the Courtyard.
