Old Jail at St. Drogo's

The Old Lewis County Jail at St. Drogo's house is part of a revitalization and repurposing of the county's old jail. In addition to this residence, St. Drogo's house has a coffee roastery / coffee bar as well as an artisanal bakery located on the first floor. Wake up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and espresso! Lowville is in the geographical center of Lewis County. We're a stone's throw from the Adirondacks, the Black River and the Tug Hill. Come Enjoy Lewis County all four seasons!

Please note: Our place does not have an elevator and is located on the third floor. Guests will need to climb two flights of stairs to access the unit. The 2 bedroom apartment is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate 4 guests. The suite is in the Mechanic Block and dates back to 1874. The apartment was restored while keeping the historical integrity in check. With vintage sink, clawfoot tub and 7' interior walls (not reaching ceiling as shown on photos) There is private parking and separate entrance. You get the entire apartment. The main level of this historical commercial building is operated by the building owner.

This is a totally private, self contained apartment with full kitchen. The house is a heritage property in historic Perth, Ontario. It's location is steps from the downtown area and the beautiful Stewart Park. The kitchen is brand new as are the 2 queen size beds. The apartment is air conditioned, has wifi and cable tv with (Netflix etc). You will have the entire upstairs apartment with private entrance. Indoor parking for one vehicle is included. Very cozy and quiet.
