Welcome to Chapter Two - Melbourne, located in the heart of Melbourne village. The church was built in the mid 1800’s and converted into several cosy dwellings over 30 years ago. The church has been fully renovated to provide an unique and unforgettable stay for up to 5 people. Fantastic range of restaurants, shops and pubs, all on the door step. Perfectly located to explore some of south Derbyshires most beautiful sights, Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold, Donington Race track are all nearby.

Well equipped lodge in private grounds at Breedon on the Hill. Super cosy and insulated for winter breaks. Great walks, safe cycling route or for some peace, quiet and self isolation. Lodge has large bedroom en-suite with a separate shower, jacuzzi bath and sauna. Wonderful open plan kitchen dining and living room with exceptional views and private decking. Lodge is fully equipped plus fast broadband for working remotely. The village has 2 pubs and shop. Easy access to motorway.

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

Don't be put off by the weather; you can be wrapped in a blanket or toast marshmallows on the log fire, reading a book, or watching our indoor Cinema. Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost. With a permenant double bed and the option of a second pull out double bed we cater for either a couple or group of four. Two bedrooms with shared bath / shower room. We allow up to 2 dogs. We also offer a fully enclosed half acre paddock for exercising them. No street lights so it is a perfect location for stargazing. Village pub 5 mins walk away. Local for Stamford, Belvoir Castle, and Burghley House.
