Hansel Cottage- a cosy cottage in quiet location

Hansel: a gift. This charming Victorian cottage, built around 1860 by a local merchant, offers very comfortable accommodation in a quiet, central location in Lerwick. Situated in a secluded lane, the cottage provides a snug hideaway. We provide a welcome pack of local produce, locally made toileteries and a small library of books, and a basket of wood and peat for the stove. Parking is available nearby. There is a private south-west facing garden with shed. Garden furniture and BBQ included.

Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

Located right in the centre of town, it’s in an excellent spot for exploring Lerwick. A selection of shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Please note: This is a top floor flat accessed via stairs. Unfortunately, there is no lift in the building.
