The house has everything you need for your rustic getaway. There is also a convenience store/gas station in town and 2 bars/restaurants. Bring your boat or jet ski to the launch just down the road on the Mississippi at one of the public launches at the riverfront park and campground.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

Open floor plan, bunk bed set, queen bed, sofa bed, & full size loft bed, includes a kitchenette complete with mini fridge, microwave, skillet, dual coffee maker & toaster. Furnished with dish set, some utensils, k-cups, towels & linens except blankets. Outdoor picnic table, fire pit, grill, and covered porch, complete with rocking chairs and a reclaimed church pew to enjoy a quiet evening sunset or a peaceful morning sunrise.
