Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
The yurt @ Ranish , Quirky , comfortable space ❤️The yurt is a peaceful space situated in the gardens of Limehill . The main house . It’s interior is modern & fresh . It’s has a small kitchen hob, shower & toilet . Double bed , 2 chairs , fold down table with 2 chairs , microwave & fridge . The centre of the roof is Perspex , letting light in and enabling star spotting at night . Pets welcome . Your immediate neighbours are chicken & sheep .A bus to town can be stopped outside the house . Amazingly the yurt was built by hand without any plan
Clachanach BeagN.B. New house being constructed in adjacent croft starting 2021. My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. I also have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).
