A Cooler Summer Home: Retreat to Farm & Forest

Come for the cool mountain evenings; stay for the birdsong and beauty of West Virginia. Vernal Vibe Rise is a small regenerative farm on a beautiful sliver of land banked by the Monongahela National Forest. I’ve been an Airbnb host for over a decade. Please come stay at Lost Croft Cabin: walk in the forest, enjoy the original art, and cook deliciously organic Pantry Package farm meals in your own open kitchen. All respectful guests welcome. Sanitization procedures in place after each guest.

Historic Home in Center of Town

A beautiful historical home, walking distance to everything. The Bnb unit is one whole side of an 1835 side-by-side duplex with private entrance and patio. The main rental is set up for four with two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) with 1.5 baths. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom may be added upon request for additional fee to accommodate up to 6 people. Comfortably furnished with fully outfitted kitchen and cotton linens. All bedrooms are up stairs.

Edifice Rex

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

Secluded Yurt in the Heart of the New River Gorge

Situated only 3 miles from downtown Fayetteville and within 15 min of trails, rivers, and climbing, this idyllic space makes you feel like you are in your own little ecotopia. The yurt is nestled on 8 acres surrounded by gardens and the forest. It is built eco-friendly complete with a composting toilet which is incredibly easy to use. Large windows are situated to allow natural sunlight and cross breezes and the dome in the center of the roof lets you sleep under the stars at night.

Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! Greenbrier River House

A luxury cabin on the Greenbrier River at Keister only 20 minutes from downtown Lewisburg, the “River House” offers rustic decor but 21st century touches including wi-fi, Direct TV, etc. in a beautiful outdoor setting along the Greenbrier River. The "River House" is about an hour and a half from Snowshoe Ski Resort and from White Water rafting. With electric heat and a cozy fireplace, it is usable in all the seasons.

Southern West Virginia cabin rental  2 bedroom cabin nestled along the banks of the Greenbrier River on Willowwood Road in Hinton, West Virginia.  Fully furnished.  Covered deck overlooking the river.  The Willowwood Country Club and 9 hole golf course is nearby. Fishing is great.
