It is conveniently located in a quiet, southside neighborhood: less than a mile from Lake Mayer park, about 10 minutes from Sandfly & Skidaway, 15 minutes from downtown and River Street, and only 30 minutes to Tybee beaches. There is covered parking at the back and a beautiful live oak tree in the front.

Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

Laid back guest house located close to the marshes and 15 minutes south of the Historic District. Quiet, serene locale with private entrance, large yard and relaxed interior that includes a queen bed with a desk and kitchenette area. Nestled under a grand live oak, the Half House is home to many bird species and a barred owl that often takes residence upon the branches. Feel free to enjoy the fire pit and private yard...laundry available on site as well.

The original heart pine floors have been refinished and are a perfect reflection of the history of this Savannah estate. Home is located within a 5 minute proximity to I-95, grocery stores, gas station and several local and popular restaurants. The backyard of the house is along I-95. Pooler, GA and Savannah, GA are short drives from this home. Perfect pit stop for all in this home away from home.
