Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Azalea Cottage is one of two charming single storey cottages situated on GlenGyle Farm, recently renovated by the architect/owner. The farm comprises mostly indigenous forest and forms part of the larger Dargle Conservancy area. The cottages are located off to one side of the main farm house, with their own separate entrance driveway, parking & garden. The property has magnificent views of both the forest and over the Dargle Valley back towards Midmar Dam. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
