Es liegt im südlichen Teil des Bayerischen Waldes in der Gemeinde Neureichenau-Altreichenau am bekannten Dreiländereck Bayern, Böhmen und Österreich.

Castle is about 5 min to walk 300m . City tax is 50CZK/per. Parking is extra 150 CZK/day.
