Beautiful high-rise cabin, with wrap around porch, overlooking the Amite River! Perfect for a romantic getaway, family fishing trip or gathering friends for some fun on the river. This place offers it all! Large yard for tent camping and outdoor games. Private beach, excellent for swimming. Boat lauch access available to guests. Huge, private, entertainment area downstairs with BBQ pit/grill and smoker, seating, and fire pit. Private fishing pond with motorless boat and fish cleaning station!

Harper's Haven-Your home away from home!

This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

The Camper

The Camper is located two miles from the interstate, tucked away on 3 acres of private, peaceful property. If you need a break, this is the place for you. It is located on the back of our property and borders the woods. The deck is a great place to relax and enjoy the mesmerizing splash of the fountain in our stocked pond. We offer catch and release fishing, or you can enjoy a stroll on our short nature trail that winds through the woods. We welcome you to our little slice of heaven.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is less than 1 mile away from Southeastern Louisiana University, & 2 miles away from the heart of downtown Hammond, LA. It is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting SLU students. 1 mile away from I-55 and less than 50 miles away from both Baton Rouge & New Orleans! Coming to Hammond for a Saturday at the Farmers Market, Hot August Nights, SLU game, or even the Strawberry Festival, you will love staying here.

About 30 minutes to the Baton Rouge airport 27 minutes to LSU 1 hour to the New Orleans airport. A And the convenience of access to many plants in Ascension Parish.
