Thondwe: A beautiful fully furnished farmhouse.

Cariad Cottage: This beautiful farmhouse is in a secluded area of Malawi called Gologota near Thondwe (approximately 20-25 minute drive to Zomba. Ideal for a quiet retreat or for those wishing to get some peace and quiet. The area is safe. 2 garden boys and a security guard provided. There is a family bathroom with WC, shower and bath tub. Kitchen has all facilities excluding fridge and microwave. Running hot and cold water in all taps. This property is self-catering. The care-taker lives nearby and meal arrangements can be organised separately with him and his wife should that be required.

A beautiful traditional house. High ceilings, a cosy living room, spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a large garden with great views of Zomba Mountain. Perfect for holiday or business visits and certainly to celebrate special occasions. We are in Mangasanja, a nice and safe area at a walkable distance from town, with beautiful views. There is an Italian (dinner and take away) around the corner and you have a self catering full kitchen. Beautiful monkeys and birds often visit.

The Guest Wing. Kalimbuka

The Guest Wing is a three bedroom fully furnished house in the colonial part of Kalimbuka, Zomba. It has a double bed in each room. It sits on 0.8 hectare of land, plenty of room for the entire family. You have a choice of gas or electricity for cooking. Cleaning is included in the price. Shopping, pick ups and drop offs as well as cooking can be arranged at a small fee. We don't claim to be the best in Zomba but we guarantee that once you stay with us, you wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

The best sunsets in Zomba happen here. Get the mountain's longest golden hour, on a permaculture farm, where the vegetables and fruits grow abundantly. This house is in a community focused on space for gardening and art. Recently a visitor described our compost toliets as the most comfortable one's they've ever used! It is a bit further from town than many other Air BNB's, but you gain serenity, space, better mountain views, and the world's best sunsets. And fabulous stone arches!
